A mist bow.....

...well technically I think it is a fog bow..... but very pretty! (click photo to enlarge). This one was right outside my back door yesterday. Beautiful!

The mist had an ethereal quality to it .....

  1. I've seen a moon bow and a sun dog, but never a fog bow. Love the Orkneys! Thanks for sharing.

    1. Belated greetings! Oooh I must check out your blog. I visited Vancouver island about 16 years ago (a day trip from Seattle). We visited the Butchart gardens and had "English Afternoon Tea" in one of the hotels. I had a bit of a culture shock as I had been on holiday in the US, KNEW I was thousands of miles from London but I was riding in a red double decker bus around the city of Victoria. LOL!

    1. Neither had I. It was lovely -wish I'd had more time to take pix but I was on the way to the ferry - which, as you know, doesn't wait!

    1. I know! Wish you could visit sometime and I could show you around! (Well that would take about an hour on this island - then we could have tea and cake.....)
